Honeymoon

Now, let us tell you of our honeymoon...

As most of you now, we did not book anything since it was our weddinggift from most of the visitors to our wedding. We had decided earlier to book a last minute vacation from all the contributions we got. The wedding was on Friday, we still had a little get together with Midsummer celebration on Saturday, and on Sunday evening we went back to Malmö.

On Monday, we started early to check out all the travel agents in the real world and on the net. After some time, Karin had found a couple of great alternatives and we finally decided to go to Greece. The town we had never heard of was Parga and it was on the coast of the main land in northwestern Greece. It was a small apartment with kitchen and fridge and... ...it was for two weeks! We really had to hurry, though, since we had to leave Malmö within an hour to catch a train to Kopenhagen for the plane, which left that night. Quickly, we threw some clothes and stuff in our bags and were on our way to Greece...

We arrived in the middle of the night at a small airport in Preveza, south of Parga. We were hungry and Karin amazingly fixed us som crisps with beer... yummy! Later that night, we arrived at our hotel and, tired as we were, fell asleep fast.

The following days, we went to explore the the town and the surroundings. We enjoyed good food, good drinks, swimming in the ocean and swimming in the pools. And we had our first day-trip. This one was sort of island hopping, which started at Lefkada and took us to Fiskardo, Ithaca, Meganisi, Skorpios island and more... So many islands on one day, but that's Greece for you.

To be continued...
