Sukiyaki Western Django

was the movie we watched the other day. Joseph had seen it before and really loved it. So now, together with a couple of friends, we were watching it at our place. We came up with the idea to establish a film night habit when Joe was working on an essay with a group of fellow students. Somehow, we kept on talking about great movies all the time (leaving little time for the essay). So we thought, let's have a movie night. And a week later, we actually did. A lot of people are sick right now, but we still managed to get five people together. Joe even made some pizza so there was something to snack on...

About the movie. It is sort of a modern Japanese twist on a classic spaghetti western, mad by the Japanese Quentin Tarrantino: Takeshi Miike. If you like your Morricone western and Tarrantino movies, you gotta see this one. You'll love it. Just make sure you watch it in the original language with English subtitles (the original language is English, but you'll still need the subtitles). If you want to know more, it's probably easiest if you look it up on www.imdb.com.

Other really good news are that we finally got our first hand contract for our flat, which means we don't have to move in two weeks. We are really glad about that since we don't have time or money to spare for that stuff. And of course, we really like our apartment. Well, nothing like good news in the middle of cold winter...

Take care, wherever you are! (B.T.W.: The picture doesn't have anything to do with this post)
