Green in the middle of winter

Yesterday we arrived on the Azores. We sort of got most things done before we left. Joe worked on his thesis again and Karin worked with her swimming schedules for the schools. Lisa came to Malmö the night before we left. The next day, all three of us were on our way from Copenhagen airport. We survived the flight, even though Josephs couldn't feel his legs by the time we got here... Plains are aparently made for midgets these days...
Anyway, we're here now. It's warmer here than in Malmö, though not really summer. You may get four seasons in one day, just like in New Zealand. Must be an island thing.
Today we walked around a bit and looked at some craters (they have lots of those over here). It's really beatiful and green everywhere here. We'll see what we will be doing the next few days, though we have some activities planned. Hope you all have happy hollidays. Remember to keep in touch!

Merry Xmas to you all and enjoy the beginning - and rest - of the new year!
