The things we do on Christmas... are lying in a hot pool and enjoying the sun. At least most of the time... On Christmas eve, we first went for a walk around one of the bigger craters, picked some flowers and, of course, snatched a Christmas tree from the woods (Lisa took care of the tree). We had really good food throughout the day, whith a Swedish style buffé for lunch and turkey for dinner. The Christmas tree was decorated by Karin and Joe, whilst Ingegerd fixed the food. Before dinner, we went to a place at the sea where there are hot springs right at the sea, mixing with the sea water to create a natural jakoozee/whirl pool/spa. It just feels that special to have a swim in the Atlantic on chrismas eve... (By the way, you may find Karin, Staffan and Lisa in the picture, enjoying the hot springs)
The evening was realy cosy then, and even though it was'nt cold outside (not to speak of the absense of snow), it really felt like Christmas. We wanted to go to the local mas, which was at midnight, but by that time, we were already sound asleep... Aparently, it even lasted until five o'clock, by which time we were awaken by the church bells. Let's see if we can make it to the church today...
We thank all of you who send some Christmas whishes to us. We apreciate them a lot.
Once again, a merry Christmas from all of us!
